All those individuals who have an input on how a group runs
In the past we have referred to you under a general term of Group Leader, but some changes within the members running Groups have meant that the standard wording of ‘Group Leader’ may not be wide-ranging enough.  There are members who manage the finance elements (Group Treasurers), members who run the group together (Joint GLs), members who run the group in the absence of the main GL (Deputies), and a newly phrased term where the member isn’t a Group Leader as such, but is the nominated contact person (Point of Contact) for members belonging to the Group. This page is for all of you.

Group Leader Meeting - the most recent meeting was held on Friday 27th March 2026.
This was the first opportunity to have a chat with the new Trustee Team, and in addition to a couple of issues that the Treasurer needed to discuss, the rest of the agenda was open to Group Leaders.

Please also note that although Beacon can only show Group Leader as a definition against a Group, a separate list is maintained to ensure that the Trustees and the Groups Coordinator know what tasks each of you undertake. Please advise Peter Beckley, our Assistant Groups Coordinator, if any changes to those involved with running a group take place.
