New Member Application Forms

To Join Crawley u3a

You can become a  member of Crawley u3a by downloading and completing one of our New Member Application forms.  There are three different types of Membership available: Full Member; Associate Member; or Guest Member.

Have a look at the list below and choose the one appropriate to yourself. Alternatively, if you would like to talk to someone, or need some advice on obtaining a form, contact Jean Manuel our Membership Assistant or telephone 01293 512982.

You can pay by cheque or by electronic bank transfer (BACS).  Full details are on the New Member Application Form.  Please remember to Gift Aid us if you're eligible (the Gift Aid Form is included in the download for the Member Application Form).

Guest Membership
Current Member of another u3a

You can join individual group(s), but you cannot attend non-group Events or enjoy the other benefits of full/associate membership.

You do not have to pay an annual membership fee, but you will have to pay group fees, at the level charged to other members of those group(s).

If you are interested in joining as a Guest Member then you will need to contact the Group Leader of the relevant Group listed on Groups to check that there are spaces for Guest Members.  If there are spaces, then complete a Guest Member form and give it to the Group Leader.  

Gift Aid

Did you know that if you are a UK taxpayer you can Gift Aid Crawley u3a membership? The Gift Aid scheme means Crawley u3a can reclaim 25p of tax for each £1 you give to help make the u3a funds go further when providing its activities. Making a gift aid donation does not cost the donor any extra money but you must be a UK taxpayer for each year for which you Gift Aid.
