This group is an informal group aimed at those who would like to join together with others to sketch our urban landscapes around Crawley. The group is designed to welcome all abilities, including those with no experience but lots of enthusiasm for this enjoyable hobby. No tuition will be given, but members do share tips and ideas.

There are no group fees, though occasionally you may be asked to contribute a small amount towards the venue's expenses. You do need to be on WhatsApp so you can keep updated with meeting arrangements, and to share your work with other members (not compulsory). 

Venues
During the months from April to September we aim to meet out-of-doors. In the event that the weather is not good for outdoor sketching Teresa will suggest an alternative indoor venue.  For the months October to March we meet at an indoor venue on the 1^st and 3^rd Friday of the month, though members can choose to sketch outside if they wish. On the other Fridays of the month we sketch in our homes. Ideas for venues are suggested by members. We try to ensure they can be reached by public transport. Occasionally we take trips to a gallery in London. 

Requirements
For each session you will need to bring something to draw on, something to draw with, and perhaps something to rest your paper on so you have a firm surface. Depending upon venue, you may need to bring along a folding chair - Teresa will advise.  It is anticipated that sessions will last approximately two hours, but that will be up to you.
