Calling all film buffs! Our Film Group has a few spaces at the moment
Currently we watch a DVD film together, then have a brief exchange of views over tea and biscuits. The film subject matter varies, and can range from historical, comedy, foreign films, topical/environmental impact, ethics etc. We try to see films of good content that perhaps have not been promoted or seen as blockbusters. Sometimes we watch recent releases, but more often good films which deserve a review. I am always open to film suggestions from our members. In the New Year, we are proposing to watch Christopher Robin, A Haunting in Venice, Miss Potter, and Six Minutes to Midnight.

In recent months we have watched Judy (about Judy Garland), Military Wives ( Gareth Malone choir), A Walk in the Woods (Bill Bryson), Operation Mincemeat (World War II  intrigue), The Best of Men (Paralympics).
