Activities

This is an ad hoc, informal group aimed at those who would like to do something spontaneous during the course of the week (although this does not rule out weekends too). Membership is free, and the only requirement is that you are on WhatsApp so that you can keep in touch and see what's going on.

Any suggestions via WhatsApp are encouraged. It doesn't need to be a formal trip in the way that Out & About groups run. The emphasis is on informal so ad hoc ideas can be made at any time. Perhaps you would like to take a bus trip somewhere, for example to Brighton, Horsham, Tunbridge Wells or anywhere else that appeals to you, or perhaps you have an idea to enjoy a stroll somewhere, and these can be arranged on a similar ad hoc basis.

What you may like to know too is that in addition to the spontaneous arrangements, the group has now decided to also arrange a stroll on the third Wednesday of every month.  There is no set plan on what the strolls might consist of in terms of the time, where, how far, etc but the principal will be designed with strolling in mind so are, perhaps, a good alternative to one of the walking groups.

This is a group run by the members, so there isn't a Group Leader as such, but we do have a Point of Contact person for any enquiries. and if you like the idea of joining in things on an informal, ad hoc basis then this is the perfect group for you.
