What you need to bring: • yourself and some fluid to maintain hydration. All other equipment is provided.
Activities
The objective of this group is to help members improve their health and wellbeing through regular exercise, as well as the opportunity to have a social catch up. Because the activity will include physical exercise, everyone attending will need to adhere to the following set of guidelines. To show they have understood them they will need to sign a copy of them before taking part in their first session. This is primarily to protect the Member from potentially placing their health at risk.
Before the session
- Do not attend the session, if you have any form of cold, flu or cough symptoms.
- If you are suffering from any muscular discomfort or respiratory problems, please check with your doctor that you are fit enough to take part.
- If you are taking prescribed drugs, please check with your doctor that it is safe for you to participate in the session.
- Do not take part, if you have had a heavy meal within two hours before the session starts.
- Do not attend if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
At the session
- Ensure the workout area has sufficient space for you to move freely without obstacles or obstructions, and you are wearing warm and loose-fitting attire and appropriate footwear.

- If at any point during the class you begin to feel faint, dizzy or have any physical discomfort you should stop immediately.
- Please use good judgment and common sense when taking the class. The instructor will adapt the routines to suit different ability levels to enable you to work within your own capability.
- Consider your level and ability and choose the appropriate level of the exercise and rest when you need too.
- Ensure you stay hydrated.
